When field agent Moneypenny is assigned to her new role – to protect the head of the Secret Service, M, at all costs – she is disappointed to find herself seemingly out of the action behind a desk in London. Jody Houser has written Faith for Valiant Comics, Max Ride: Ultimate Flight and Agent May for Marvel, and Orphan Black for IDW. She has been a contributing writer to numerous comic anthologies including both of the books in the Womanthology series.

Jacob Edgar is an up and coming comics artist who has gained a name producing commissions and has recently worked on Flophouse’s Saying Goodbye Again in aid of the Puerto Rico hurricane relief.

James Bond: Service

With Britain standing under question and tensions running high, a nationalist terrorist group is hellbent on propelling the country to war in this standalone extended comic special by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Antonio Fuso.

Bond must use all his skill in espionage to avert an assassination which could destroy Britain’s special relationship with the United States and plunge the two countries into political turmoil.

MEET THE CREATORS

Kieron Gillen is a writer of comic books and former video game journalist. He has worked for publications such as PC Gamer UK, The Guardian and Wired. He has written for Marvel and penned titles like Thor and Uncanny X-men.

Antonio Fuso is an artist whose works include Torchwood for Titan Comics, Tales from Mega-city One as part of Judge Dredd Magazine and the Sinister Dexter series. Fuso has also worked extensively for Marvel Comics.

James Bond: Felix Leiter

Felix Leiter returns in a new story from writer James Robinson and artist Aaron Campbell, which begins with the ex-CIA agent treading the streets of Tokyo to identify a hostile operative as a favour to Tiger Tanaka (head of the Japanese intelligence service).

But the operative he’s been sent to tail is no stranger – she and Felix have history in the field, and old scores to settle. It’s not long before he’s embroiled in a desperate attempt to thwart a terrorist conspiracy. This is Fleming’s world, with a strong sense of Noir befitting Felix’s Pinkerton Detective days.

This hardcover edition collects together issues 1-6 of the story.

James Robinson has written comics for both Marvel and DC, penning arcs for Batman, Superman and The Fantastic Four amongst many others. He is also the co-creator of the character of Starman for DC.

Aaron Campbell is an artist who has worked on Green Hornet: Year One and The Shadow. He has also drawn a six-issue arc of Uncanny.

James Bond: The Body

A compendium of four linked stories written by Ales Kot, illustrated by Luca Caslanguida, Antonio Fuso, Rapha Lobosco, Eoin Marron and Hayden Sherman.

Part one – the Body. As Bond undergoes a post-mission medical examination, he relays the story of his previous mission to the examiner. Each cut, bruise, and broken bone connected to a specific event of the mission. A connection is made between two people with different purposes: one to save lives, the other to take them.

Part two – The Brain. James Bond leads the interrogation of a scientist who allowed a lethal virus to be stolen. But when the investigation takes a surprising turn, Bond begins to question whether he is enough.

James Bond Vol 3: Black Box

Black Box is the third James Bond story arc from Dynamite Entertainment‘s James Bond comics series, written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Rapha Lobosco.

The Intelligence Service has suffered a major data breach. Sensitive, dangerous, even incriminating information is out in the ether, or in the hands of an unknown enemy. Given the severity of the attack, and the urgent need for safe recovery of the data – Bond is sent without delay to Tokyo. He must follow the only lead MI6 can muster. He must track down the technology magnate Saga Genji. But he’s not the only one looking for the information – the ‘Black Box’ is out in the water… and the sharks are circling.

Rapha Lobosco is an artist based in Dublin. He has produced, drawn and written his own comic, Day Job, and has worked on the space thriller, Heavy Black.

James Bond Vol 2: Eidolon

The second story arc from writer Warren Ellis and artist Jason Masters sets Bond off on an evacuation mission in Los Angeles.

But the evac becomes an emergency when rival security forces seem determined to not only interrupt the operation, but also execute Bond and his charge in the process. The evacuee in question, Cadence Birdwhistle, has stumbled upon a mysterious money trail which puts her in mortal danger, for it was never meant to be discovered. This Eidolon graphic novel collects issues 7-12 of Warren Ellis and Jason Masters story arc which began with Vargr.
