Dr. Lucas Townsend is a lecturer and researcher in English Literature and Culture at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz and the Associate Editor of the International Journal of James Bond Studies. His research is engaged in exploring the relationship of Ian Fleming to wider literary cultures and authors of modernism, intermodernism, and thriller fiction in mid-century Britain.
